The sheer neglect

I compromised myself

Crashed and burned from straddling the line

Was swallowed whole by a crush

And my heart split open my chest

Deep in the ocean In the depths of sorrow My heart filled with air and floated above me Tethered to the surface by hope

I was just there I took up space I felt seen I existed
